Royal family issues update on Duchess Sophie after she ditched wedding ring

King Charles' office released a delightful video of beaming Duchess Sophie from the same royal engagement, which raised questions about her missing wedding ring.

On July 4, the royal family's official Instagram account shared details from the Duchess of Edinburgh's visit to the Royal Horticultural Society.

As per the Palace's spokesperson, Sophie made an appearance at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival and the Festival of Roses earlier this week.

The mother-of-two toured "some of the gardens, floral displays and allotments on show," as well as the Festival of Roses, which includes "'The King’s Rose' and 'Catherine’s Rose.'"

"The Duchess also spent time with local school children visiting the festival to learn about environmental practices and the joy of horticulture, alongside British television icons, The Wombles," the statement reads.

It is pertinent to note that the royal family issued update on the Duchess of Edinburgh after she was photographed of not wearing a wedding ring while her husband Prince Edward was in Canada.

However, no comments were made by Buckingham Palace over the speculations.
