James Gunn reveals his choice for ‘Wonder Woman’

James Gunn has hinted about the next Wonder Woman in the upcoming DC Studios film, leaving fans stunned.
The Suicide Squad director candidly said, “I think Adria Arjona would be a great Wonder Woman.”
In an interview with Extra, the 58-year-old filmmaker clarified that he’s been following the Hit Man star for a long time on Instagram, adding, “Everybody thought he just followed her, that means she’s Wonder Woman.”
Expressing his admiration for the 33-year-old American actress, the CEO of the newly revamped DC Studios said: “I worked with Adria seven years ago. She starred in one of my films. She was great. We’ve been friends since then.”
Netizens took to social media reacting to James Gunn's statement as one wrote, “Yes, only Adria Arjona and Eiza Gonzalez are perfect for the new Wonder Woman”. Another expressed, “She’ll be a wonderful choice.”
It is unclear if the Studios has decided to cast her or was it just a candid expression by the CEO of DC Studios.
It was earlier revealed by the Guardians of the Galaxy director that a new Wonder Woman feature film is being written now. However, no details regarding the cast, filming or release of the movie have been revealed yet.
