Charlize Theron, who is known for her role as Aileen Wuornos in Monster, revealed her upcoming plans in an interview.
The 49-year-old actress portrayed a thrilling role in Fast X, a part of Fast & Furious series, which was highly appreciated by fans.
Charlize is set to return to the screen as she backed a role of Circe in The Odyssey, which is being directed by Christopher Nolan.
However, the actress has not filmed any scene from the upcoming project, which said to make its theatrical debut in July 2026.
During her appearance at Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project Block Party, she was questioned about her experience on the set.
According to Variety, the Atomic Blonde star will “leave in a couple of weeks” as she admitted the feeling is “super intimidating.”
She explained the reason behind her being overwhelmed, comparing herself to “the new kid on the block, and everybody will know what they’re doing and not me.”
For the unversed, Circe is the lead antagonist of the show, who stands against Odysseus and his men. In the story, she turned them into animals.
The expected star cast of the film includes Tom Holland and Zendaya as they were spotted on the Greece set on different times.
