“I just thought he would protect me,” the 32-year-old shared and went on to explain that her crush was likely due to childhood innocence.
However, Selena did not specify if it was Ice’s music or his roles in popular '90s films that drew her in.
Additionally, the actress discussed her love for Eminem which was influenced by her father, a DJ who frequently remixed the rapper’s tracks.
“Every time it was an Eminem song, I would just get so excited,” the Lose You to Love Me artist recalled.
Karol reflected on her musical influences as well who also named the Detroit rapper as her favourite artist growing up.
O'Shea Jackson Sr., better known as Ice Cube, gained prominence as a member of the hip-hop group N.W.A.
