Jessie J announced earlier this year that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and will have to undergo mastectomy.
The singer announced in July that she had a successful mastectomy and doctors had confirmed there was no cell growth.
However, it was revealed that she had contracted an infection and doctors had found liquid in her lungs.
In the midst of her battle with cancer, Jessie has made a heartbreaking admission about the difficult phase.
“Yesterday I sobbed, because I miss my boy. I can't be a mom like I want to be a mom and I feel robbed”, the singer said on Great Company with Jamie Laing podcast.
She added, “The worst part is… I feel like cancer has robbed me of memories with my boy”.
“And anyone with a toddler knows that they change so much in that space of time. You blink and he’s chatting.”
The British singer is a mother to her 2-year-old son, Sky, who she co-parents with her boyfriend Chanan Safir Colman.
Jessie previously admitted that she feared she would die when the cancer was first diagnosed.
Breast cancer is a very common type of cancer which majorly affects women where malignant cells form in the breast tissue.
Many female celebrities have been diagnosed with breast cancer including Olivia Munn, Christina Applegate, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Cynthia Nixon.
