Justin Baldoni now has two It Ends With Us co-stars, Blake Lively and Isabela Ferrer whom he he is up against in the messy legal battle which began late last year.
The Wayfarer Studios co-founder’s legal team filed a new motion on August 18, responding to claims that the Evil actress was harassed by the Five Feet Apart director’s subpoena attempts.
In documents obtained by Page Six, the Jane the Virgin alum’s attorney writes that the 24-year-old was contacted only to obtain “documents that she either neglected to produce or were not requested,” by Blake’s legal team.
The lawyers for Justin noted that they could not be held responsible for “harassing” Isabela, since she was first summoned by the Gossip Girl alum.
“Given the circumstances, the Wayfarer Parties are willing to stipulate that none of the parties will use any communication to, from or concerning Ms. Ferrer, or any testimony from her, in any manner in this action,” the Clouds director’s team requests in the latest filing.
It seems the drama and tensions in the case are only escalating before the trial begins in May of 2026, as multiple parties weave in and out of the complex situation.
The crossfire began after Blake felt uncomfortable while sharing screen with the filmmaker in It Ends With Us. She took her complaint to the court by filing a sexual harassment case against Justin.
