Justin Baldoni, who is facing sexual harassment lawsuit by Blake Lively, allegedly harassed another female co-star from It Ends of Us.
The 40-year-old faced a strict legal response after his team subpoenaed Isabela Ferrer, who portrayed the younger version of Lilly Bloom, in the ongoing case of Blake.
The director’s team revealed that the actress was not responding to the summon request. Soon, Isabela’s crew filed a case against the filmmaker.
According to the court documents, Justin has “engaged in bad faith tactics.”
It was also noted in the complaint that the motion by the director was filed for “improper purposes and with the aim of harassing” her.
The 24-year-old star demanded the court to deny Justin’s filings and sanction his actions.
Isabela was subpoenaed in the ongoing lawsuit between Blake and the director of the romantic drama, a move which was believed to be a “transparent effort” to pressurise her.
The legal crossfire began after the lead actress of Colleen Hoover’s movie adaptation filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against the filmmaker.
In the complaint, the Betty Buzz owner also alleged that the Jane the Virgin actor started a smear campaign against her.
As a response, Justin filed a defamation lawsuit, accusing the actress and her husband Ryan Reynolds of extortion and orchestrating a smear campaign against him.
However, his suit was dismissed by the judge due to lack of proper evidence.
According to critics, the case is weighing more in favour of the Savages actress.
It was recently reported that Justin’s PR team member is asking for a raise to counter online backlash from the plaintiff's friend Taylor Swift’s fans.
While the apparent condition of the case points a victory for the actress, it is still early to reach a conclusion as the hearing will begin next year, March 9, 2026.
