Wendy Williams seems to be getting her spark back, as she discusses her dreams and desires on the way to her favourite restaurant.
The Wendy Williams Show host has been under conservatorship for years since she was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and aphasia, but is actively fighting to be rid of it.
In a statement to Page Six, the former broadcaster gave an appropriate answer when asked about the arrangement, “I want to say hi to my attorneys, Allan Diamond and Joe Tacopina, and I will get out of my guardianship.”
An insider for the outlet notes, ““Her focus is she wants out. She wants an apartment in New York. She wants to be back in society. She wants to be able to go get bagels and lox, just the simple pleasures, she wants to go to fashion week!”
The iconic figure also allegedly greeted the reporter with her signature catchphrase, “How you doin’?” and asked the reporter if she sounds like she has dementia, despite being assessed for it.
Williams’ has also been battling issues such as hyperthyroidism and Graves’ disease, which has resulted in her using a scooter to get around.
Williams unexpectedly passed out during a Halloween episode of her show in 2017, which was due to her becoming overheated and running low on electrolytes.
