Bruce Springsteen reveals why he avoided biopic filming

The biopic on the rock and roll legend Bruce Springsteen is set to be released in October this year and the trailer has everyone on their toes already.

The movie is titled Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere which will star Jeremy Allen White as the legendary musician.

Bruce spoke about the filming process of the movie saying sometimes he avoided coming to the shoots.

In conversation with Rolling Stones, Bruce was asked what it was like to watch someone younger to play him.

I’m sure it’s much worse for the actor than for me” Bruce replied, “Jeremy Allen White was very, very tolerant of me the days that I would appear on the set.”

The rockstar also admitted there was “some unusualness” because the filming involved some of the most painful days of his life.

The music icon avoided being on set for deeply personal scenes as he “wanted the actors to feel completely free”.
