Chris Brown pleads not guilty in violence case

Chris Brown was arrested in Manchester on May 15 following accusations of being involved in an attack that took place in 2023.

The US rapper arrived at Southwark Crown Court in London on Friday morning and officially pleaded not guilty to all charges imposed against him.

The incident took place in a nightclub in London in February 2023 in which the singer has been accused of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm to music producer Abraham Diaw.

Abraham Diaw claimed that he was at London’s Tape club when he was hit several times with a bottled followed by being “punched and kicked”.

The 36-year-old arrived in court dressed in a blue suit just hours after performing at Cardiff's Principality Stadium as a part of his Breezy Bowl tour.

Brown's co-defendant, U.S. musician Omololu Akinlolu has also pleaded not guilty to all charges.

The trial date has been set for October 26, 2026.
