Action movie alum Aaron Taylor-Johnson is coming back to theatres in the new thrilling horror apocalypse movie, 28 Years Later.
On Wednesday, June 18, the Marvel star was in London to attend the world premiere of the first sequel to his upcoming movie.
Talking with Deadline, Taylor-Johnson sparked rumours that his next project could be James Bond while responding to a question about what he’s working on next.
Recently, the next James Bond movie has been the talk of the town, as fans are eager to discover who will portray 007 after Daniel Craig.
As the Deadline reporter asked Taylor-Johnson in London: “What are you doing next?”
“I can't talk about it,” the 35-year-old actor replied while being pulled away by his entourage.
Speculation that the Godzilla star would be the next James Bond began in May, when the star signed with the film franchise’s official watch provider, Omega.
The watchmaker Omega has had an alliance with the Bond franchise for 30 years.
In May, the watch company shared a photo of Taylor-Johnson at their watchmaking headquarters in Bienne, where he enjoyed “an exclusive tour, meeting the watchmakers behind our timepieces.”
“I have always had an appreciation for timepieces, but especially for Omega,” Taylor-Johnson said as he signed the deal. “Now, after visiting the factory, I am in awe of the skill required to manufacture such a luxurious product.”
This collaboration has sparked enthusiasm among fans, with one user commenting: “‘STOP, hold the presses…?!’ ATJ was invited to the @omega HQ? What secret agent do we know wears an Omega..?”
“Hello Mr. Bond, we have been expecting you,” another user commented.
