Emily Ratajkowski says she decenters ‘straight men’ in dating

Emily Ratajkowski sat down for an interview with Elle UK where she opened up about her dating life and the practices she follows.

Explaining how she has decentered straight men from her life, the model remarked, "I still like men. I just have zero straight men in my life, unless they’re a romantic interest. In the hierarchy of needs, that’s at the top of the pyramid, which is nice. [Men are] pleasure and fun, but not a part of my core.”

In a past interview she opened up about exploring romance after her divorce, saying, "I'm proud of myself. Younger version of myself would have prob settled for some mid dude just to have a [boyfriend]. Glad I'm not in that era anymore.”

She added, "I'm really open to meeting people whatever way! But I do think mutuals is always a nice way to vet people."

After her separation from husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard, the model has been linked to Brad Pitt, Pete Davidson, Eric André, Harry Styles and most recently country singer Shaboozey.

About her preferences, Ratajkowski claimed, "Waiting for the right one to come along. I've always been someone who's more attracted to vibe than specifics of physicality so sometimes it'll just randomly hit me and I'll be like, 'Whoa, I'm attracted to this person!'”
