Jonathan Bailey finally addresses James Bond rumours

Jonathan Bailey is speculated to be one of the frontrunners to play the iconic British superspy James Bond in the next 007 movie.

The next James Bond movie is under production with a new studio, Amazon MGM, which has left the fans anticipating for more details to be revealed, including the big reveal of the new James Bond, last played by Daniel Craig in 2021.

Jonathan, who is widely known for his role as the Viscount Anthony in the Bridgerton series, has finally spoken about the possibility of him being the next 007.

Speaking to Scott Mills on Radio 2 Breakfast show, Jonathan was asked “Do you, or would you be, James Bond?”.

The actor responded with humour “Scott, how dare you!”.

Later, Jonathan clarified that he genuinely does not know what the future hold for the iconic role.

“It would be hard to say no, but I know that it’s going to be exciting whatever they do,”, he said.

Seven actors have played the role of James Bond so far with the most recent one being Daniel Craig in 2021.
