Benny Blanco doesn’t seem to be a huge fan of performing his top charting hits on stage.
On Tuesday, June 3, in an episode of the podcast Hot Hits with Nic & Loren, the 37-year-old talked candidly about doing live performances for the album he released with Selena Gomez, I Said I Love You First, early in 2025.
The Watching Me songwriter mentioned that doing live shows is his biggest nightmare because when it comes to taking the stage, like on SNL or the AMAs, he’s always just like, "When's it over? When's it over?"
The How Does It Feel To Be Forgotten singer chimed in, stating, "I just want to be home on my couch."
Meanwhile, the podcast host, Loren, playfully suggested having a couch on stage for Benny to pop on between performances.
The iHeartRadio Music Award winner responded sarcastically to him, adding, "Honestly, not a bad idea, guys."
For the unversed, the Emilia Pérez actress and American record producer made their relationship official on December 11, 2024, after dating for two years.
Notably, the record producer dropped his album I Said I Love You First, a collaboration with his fiancée Selena, on March 21.
Yes, Benny has a fear of flying known as aerophobia. In fact, in an interview, he mentioned that he tries to avoid flying and seeks alternatives instead.
