Justin Baldoni speaks out about massive loss against Blake Lively

Justin Baldoni just suffered a huge blow in the bombshell case against Blake Lively, and the It Ends With Us actor’s attorney has discussed his reaction to the news.

A U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman dismissed the Five Feet Apart director’s $400 million defamation lawsuit against the Green Lantern actress along with the $250 million suit he filed against The New York Times for their coverage of the suit, all on Monday, June 9.

The Jane The Virgin star’s legal representative, Bryan Freedman, when asked about Justin’s reaction to the news, told TMZ the very next day, "What was Justin's reaction to it? The same as my reaction to it, which is: It's not fair. It's not right."

Freedman went on to note that the Clouds director simply wanted “vindication” for everything he has gone through.

The attorney added that they were not “pleased” with the judge’s decision before cryptically hinting that the legal warfare between Blake and Justin is "so far from over, let's just put it that way."

Meanwhile the Gossip Girl alum and her team celebrated the move, calling it a victory.

Why was Justin Baldoni’s lawsuit dismissed?

In the legal documents, Judge Lewis J Liman wrote that the director and his company have not alleged if "Lively is responsible for any statements other than the statements in her complaint, which are privileged.”

The judge explained that Justin’s allegations do not fulfil the requirements “for them to be liable for defamation under applicable law.”
