Meghan Markle has been slowly lifting the veil on her family life, but with one big caveat: fans still don’t see Prince Archie or Princess Lilibet’s faces.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, recently posted about daughter Lilibet’s fourth birthday and shared glimpses of a luxe Disneyland celebration, but kept both children’s faces hidden.
Now, royal expert Jennie Bond is weighing in on why. Writing in The Sun, the former BBC correspondent claims Meghan’s photo strategy is calculated: “After almost obsessive secrecy… Meghan is now bombarding her growing band of social media fans with updates,” she wrote.
“To add some mystery, the children’s faces are obscured.”
Bond believes the contrast with Prince William and Princess Kate’s openness with their kids is intentional, and that the Sussexes are monetizing mystery.
“Everything Meghan posts… multiplies the clicks and the potential revenue.”
HELLO! reports the Disneyland trip was likely full VIP, with private tour guides, exclusive ride access, and lunch at ultra-exclusive Club 33.
