Kylie Jenner attended a string of award shows with her current beau Timothée Chalamet earlier this month while consistently opting for black gowns, and the 27-year-old has finally opened up about her reasoning.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum, who made her red-carpet debut with the Dune star after two years of dating, revealed why she could be seen sporting a floor-length black gown at the 70th David Di Donatello Awards.
In an interview with Harper's Bazaar, Kylie noted, "I think it just like happened that way, even, recently I was like, I can’t wear another black dress. And then of course the most perfect, gorgeous Schiaparelli black dress shows up."
The Sprinter founder then hinted the real reason behind her choosing to wear the colour again and again was so that she didn’t steal the limelight from the Little Women actor.
"Although these are the most beautiful, iconic gowns that I've been wearing, I think a black dress is also kind of like, not too attention grabbing in the best way. You can never go wrong with a black dress," she stated.
Meanwhile, Timothée could be seen sporting various different colours throughout their joint appearances.
Timothée Chalamet was born on December 27, 1995, making him almost two years older than Kylie Jenner who was born on August 10, 1997.
