Anna Grace Phelan, a 19-year-old influencer who shared on TikTok about her battle with cancer and her firm faith, has died, her family confirmed.
"We regret to inform you that our lovely daughter, Anna Grace Phelan, has returned home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ," the mother wrote in a post on social media.
The statement went on, "So many of you have followed her journey through a difficult battle with cancer and bore witness to her powerful testimony of faith."
"We are grateful for the thousands and thousands of prayers for peace and healing. May we all be happy knowing that she has been healed and is now in Heaven."
Phelan first disclosed to her fans in September that she was suffering from brain cancer.
She described the symptoms that led to the diagnosis, which included numbness on the left side of her face and the right side of her leg, as well as problems with vision and balance.
Following a biopsy, Phelan was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive and incurable form of brain cancer, after an MRI showed a lesion on her brain.
In a TikTok she shared in September, Phelan said, "This is definitely the hardest news I've ever received. This is by no means simple. I'm just going to put my faith in the Lord and keep trying."
