Jennifer Lopez offers major update on injury ahead of AMAs hosting

Jennifer Lopez has essentially said I’m Gonna Be Alright after her rehearsal for the American Music Awards took a dangerous turn.

The prestigious ceremony is set to take place on Monday, May 26, but the Maid in Manhattan actress had informed her followers earlier this month that she had to get stiches on her nose, after it got wounded while she was practicing for her performance.

The Jenny from the Block hitmaker also revealed to People that she was not the only one who has gotten injured before the event.

“I hurt my nose. I hit it in rehearsal and I had to get stitches. It was fine, a few of us have gotten hurt in rehearsals. We’re doing a very high-energy athletic number so it’s, I guess, bound to happen,” Lopez stated.

The 55-year-old had also posted black-and-white snaps from the time to her Instagram, with the caption, “It takes a village. DANCE AGAIN,” additionally tagging the people involved in the collection.

Lopez, who has previously noted that she enjoys performing, was all smiles in the carousel of images, similarly to the time she shared images of herself icing the injury.
