Diddy’s trial enters second week: What’s next?
Diddy will face court in the second week of his trial
The rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs will face the court for another week now as the trial has entered its second week.
The first week began on May 12 with opening statements from the two sides followed by Diddy’s ex Cassie Ventura’s testimony that went on throughout the week.
Cassi’s testimony included her recalling the entire 11 years of her complicated relationship with the rapper and his infamous “freak offs”.
The second week will begin with singer Dawn Richard, a former member of Danity Kane, to continue her testimony on May 19.
In her appearance last week, she recalled the incident from 2009 when Diddy assaulted Cassie.
The singer has also stated that Diddy threatened her afterwards.
After Dawn’s t4estimony is completed, the court is expected to call Cassie’s Kerry Morgan and her mother.
Cassie has testified in court under her real name, however Diddy’s other alleged victims will remain anonymous and testify in the court in coming weeks.
The prosecution has claimed that the rapper ran a sex enterprise meanwhile, the defense has argued that the “freak-offs” were consensual.
