Fans who were clinging on to the last shred of hope of seeing Dave Navarro and Perry Farrell patch things up are currently feeling disappointed.
Rock band Jane's Addiction was abruptly broken up due to an onstage altercation between Navarro and Farrell in September 2024.
Farrell punched his fellow bandmate, prompting the 57-year-old to storm off the stage and ultimately cancelling the rest of their tour.
In a recent interview with Guitar Player, Navarro discussed the incident in an emotional manner.
The guitarist said that the fight undid “all the hard work and dedication and writing and hours in the studio” leading up to the tour.
“It all came to a screeching halt and forever destroyed the band’s life,” Navarro continued.
Speaking about the possibility of amending his relationship with Farrell, the artist replied, “no chance.”
The former Ink Master judge went on to reminisce about their performances before making their final stop in Boston.
“There was no ego issue. It was just four guys making great music, just like we did in the beginning,” Navarro revealed.
A few months after the altercation between Dave Navarro and Perry Farrell in September 2024, bassist Eric Avery and drummer Stephen Perkins announced, along with guitarist Navarro, that they are working on a new project without their lead vocalist.
