Backstreet Boys and NSYNC are two of the most iconic bands from the early 2000s, and their partnering up would potentially break the internet.
The I Want It That Way hitmakers, which consist of Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, and cousins Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson, have just shared an update on the move.
In an interview with Parade, Nick was asked about the collaboration with NSYNC, who has recently reunited after an indefinite hiatus.
“We’ve talked about it a ton, actually,” the lead vocalist stated about the prospect.
He continued, “We’ve had those conversations internally [with] managers. It just hasn’t lined up yet.”
Nick then went on to say that they had previously done similar projects with other bands such as New Kids on the Block and thoroughly enjoyed it so they would love to make this one happen as well.
The bands had joined forces back in 2011-2012 as co-headliners, successfully performing 80 shows all around the world.
Backstreet Boys is generally considered more well-known compared to NSYNC with its worldwide recognition calculated by taking into account album sales and longevity.
