Seems like a little shade from Young Thug is not stopping Gunna from giving his fans what they want.
Last month, the rapper posted a series of images and videos from his vacation in the Dominican Republic.
The Instagram carousel included an unreleased clip in which Gunna rapped, “Let these n*****s be goofy, I got a master plan,” leading many fans to speculate that he is working on a new album.
On May 17, the Beat the Case hitmaker took to Instagram with a string of workout photos, with the caption, "06/ /2025 !!!" which is interpreted by many as the release date of Gunna’s next project.
Fans also conclude that Gunna has moved on from his YSL label after noticing, in the same set of images, that he has covered the YSL tattoo with something else.
All this comes after Thug’s YSL Records seemingly removed all mentions of Gunna on their Instagram.
The Atlanta rapper allegedly called his YSL affiliate a “rat” after he was released from prison last October on a 15-year probation sentence after making a plea deal in the YSL RICO case.
Following Young Thug’s arrest in May 2022, YSL member Gunna also turned himself in after an arrest warrant was issued in his name.
Gunna was released in December 2022 after making a plea deal, causing some to believe that the Lemonade hitmaker had snitched on his affiliates.
The 31-year-old and his attorney have publicly denied informing against his YSL associates.
