World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar Jacob Fatu has dropped a new track titled Hello, featuring his legendary uncle and WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi.
While the song caught immediate attention due to its hard-hitting lyrics and personal themes, fans have condemned Fatu's repeated use of the N-word.
Frank Ware Jr. produced this song with sampled beats from Wiz Khalifa.
The lyrics delve into the personal struggles and family life of the former WWE United States Champion. However, it mentions the N-word as: "What these n****s know about me? I'm the damn truth." He repeatedly used the word as: "N****s, you damn right bruh, I'm gon' get it. And if you n****s doubt me now, then you gon' regret it."
Despite the hype around the song, many fans expressed disappointment over the 33-year-old's use of the N-word, arguing that as a Samoan, he should refrain from using the racial slur.
Criticising the lyrics, one fan wrote: "I'm a fan of Jacob Fatu, but he shouldn't be saying that word." The other wrote: "Samoans don't get a free pass just because they're Polynesian. That word has history and weight behind it."
The controversy comes just days after Fatu lost the United States Championship to Solo Sikoa at Night of Champions. Rikishi, who is Sikoa's father, has remained neutral in the WWE storyline, praising both his son and nephew on his podcast, Rikishi Fatu Off the Top.
"I was happy when both Solo and Jacob won the US Title," Rikishi said, refusing to pick sides.
Jacob Fatu became WWE United States Champion in Apr 19, 2025, and held the title till June 28, 2025 for 69 days.
