Looks like there is still a lot of bad blood left between Young Thug and Gunna.
The Atlanta rapper allegedly called his YSL affiliate a “rat” after he was released from prison last October.
Thug walked out on 15-year probation after making a plea deal in the YSL RICO case.
In November, Thug seemingly doubled down on his sentiment when he posted on X, formerly Twitter: “Gunna stop acting like we friends on the internet, I don’t know you my guy.”
Earlier this month, Thug’s label YSL Records seemingly removed all mentions of Gunna on their Instagram.
However, the Drip Too Hard singer went on to hint that he made a new music deal with another label.
This led to Thursday, when Thug released the lead single of his upcoming album Uy Scuti.
The track, titled Money on Money, is a collaboration between Thug and Future and is raising eyebrows due to its apparent diss at Gunna.
The Stoner hitmaker allegedly called an unknown person a “rat” multiple times in the song, causing some fans to speculate that he was referring to Gunna.
While it is all speculation at this point, it seems like the hip-hop world is witnessing the beginning of its next high-profile feud.
Following Young Thug’s arrest in May 2022, YSL member Gunna also turned himself in after an arrest warrant was issued in his name.
Gunna was released in December 2022 after making a plea deal, causing some to believe that the Lemonade hitmaker had snitched on his affiliates.
The 31-year-old and his attorney have publicly denied informing against his YSL associates.
