Gunna appears to have one or two tricks up his sleeve amid his apparent tension with Young Thug.

The rapper was allegedly called a snitch by Thug when he was released last October after making a plea deal in the YSL RICO case.

In November, Thug seemingly doubled down on his sentiment when he posted on X, formerly Twitter: “Gunna stop acting like we friends on the internet, I don’t know you my guy.”

Earlier this month, Thug’s label YSL Records seemingly removed all mentions of Gunna on their Instagram, causing the fans to speculate that the situation between the labelmates is not over.

However, the apparent ostracisation did not hinder Gunna from working on some new projects.

The Beat the Case rapper recently posted a series of images and videos from his vacation in the Dominican Republic.

The Instagram carousel also includes an unreleased clip in which Gunna raps “Let these n*****s be goofy, I got a master plan. Got my feet kicked up/I’m kicking like Justin Chan/1500 or nothing/I got a pack from Rance.”

Fans speculate that the 31-year-old could be referring to 1500 or Nothin’ CEO Larrance “Rance” Dopson and also hinting at making a music deal with the Los Angeles-based music imprint.

Gunna also declared “IM OTW! ALBUM SOON!” in a previous Instagram post, which further solidifies the notion that he is definitely up to something.

Why did Young Thug call Gunna a snitch?

Following Young Thug’s arrest in May 2022, YSL member Gunna also turned himself in due to an issued arrest warrant.

Gunna was released in December 2022 after making a plea deal, causing some to believe that the Lemonade hitmaker had snitched on his affiliates.

However, Gunna publicly denied snitching on his YSL associates, saying, “While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way.”
