Cassie Ventura, who claims to be sexually assaulted and coerced by Sean “Diddy” Combs, took a major decision in her emotional testimony during the ongoing sex crime trial.

The rapper’s defence team upheld that the 38-year-old accused the Bad Boy Records owner as she was financially motivated.

In the recent turn of events, the Me & U hitmaker has decided to return the $20 million settlement amount from Diddy in order to reverse the “humiliating” experience of being part of the alleged “freak-offs.”

Although the pay-out was publicly known, the amount was recently disclosed. This settlement took place one day after the model took legal action against the music mogul.

However, the 55-year-old rapper’s legal team insisted that The Boys singer was financially distressed before starting legal proceedings.

The songstress testified for four days in the criminal trial of her former boyfriend Diddy, who is facing racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation charges. He was taken into custody in September 2024.

During the four-day testimony, Cassie shared graphic details about the case in front of the jurors and the world.

What are freak-offs?

The Empire actress, who is expecting her third child, revealed being violently forced by the imprisoned musician to be part of extended sexual activities which included other male escorts.

The “Freak-offs,” also known as the White parties, were social gatherings that were hosted by the musician during the year 1998 to 2009.
