NBA YoungBoy announces first tour after prison release

NBA YoungBoy is making up for lost time just weeks after being released from prison.

The rapper was originally sentenced to 27 months in prison after his arrest in April 2024 for alleged involvement in a prescription drug fraud scheme.

The White Teeth singer faced several identity fraud and firearm charges, which stemmed from two separate incidents in Utah and Louisiana.

YoungBoy pleaded guilty to charges in the fraud case and entered a no-contest plea for other cases. He received a suspended sentence for identity fraud and over two years for the firearm charges.

After serving 11 of the original 27-month sentence, the 25-year-old walked free on March 24 from Talladega Federal Correctional Institution in Alabama.

On Thursday, YoungBoy announced that his Make America Slime Again (MASA) Tour would kick off on September 2nd.

The tour will commence in Dallas and will make its way through 25 other cities before making its final stop in New Orleans on October 19.

The announcement came just days after the Baton Rouge artist released the single Shot Callin on May 7.

What is the name of NBA YoungBoy’s latest album?

NBA YoungBoy released his fourth compilation album More Leaks back in March while the singer was still in prison.
