On May 9, Frank wrote with a heavy heart: “I am so very sorry to hear of Denise Alexander’s passing.”
The 62-year-old appreciated the actress for breaking “barriers on-screen and off, portraying Dr. Lesly Webber… one of the first female doctors on Daytime Television.”
Highlighting the honour of working with her on the project, Frank extended his “heartfelt sympathies to her family, friends, and longtime fans.”
Denise started out as an actress at a tender age of 6 by working on radio.

While speaking to We Love Soaps, the Crime in the Streets star gushed about her experience that “there was television, there was radio, I did theatre, I did everything there was to do, and it seemed natural.”
The actress leaves behind her husband Richard A. Colla and stepdaughter Elizabeth Colla.
