Why Jade Thirlwall reportedly parted ways with Jordan Stephens?

Jade Thirlwall and Jordan Stephens have reportedly gone their separate ways after six years together, bringing an end to one of pop's most loved relationships.

The former Little Mix singer and the Rizzle Kicks star are said to have quietly split earlier this year following heartfelt conversations about their future. 

Despite the reported break-up, the pair are believed to have remained on good terms.

A source claimed the decision was far from easy, saying Jade and Jordan shared a "very serious and loving relationship" but ultimately decided to part ways. 

Friends are reportedly devastated by the news and are said to be hoping the couple can eventually find their way back to one another.

Fuel was added to the split rumours after eagle-eyed fans noticed both stars had wiped each other from their Instagram pages. 

The speculation also intensified when neither marked what would have been their sixth anniversary in June, despite previously celebrating the milestone publicly.

Secret Love Song hitmaker also attended her Little Mix bandmate Perrie Edwards' wedding in Portugal without Jordan by her side.

While the couple's last public appearance together came at the BRIT Awards in February.

Neither the songstress nor the rapper has publicly addressed the reports, and their representatives have yet to comment.

The timing has also sparked interest after Heartbreak Anthem singer recently admitted she has been pouring her private struggles into new music while working on her second solo album.

Speaking about the creative process, she revealed that she has been putting "pen to paper" over everything she has been experiencing behind closed doors, hinting that difficult personal moments have inspired her latest songs.

For those unfamiliar, the couple first found love during the Covid-19 lockdown after Jade boldly messaged Jordan on social media. 

Their romance blossomed through Zoom dates and socially distanced walks, quickly becoming one of the entertainment world's favourite love stories.
