Pop fans were left talking after Jade Thirlwall missed bandmate Perrie Edwards’s dreamy wedding in Portugal.
The 33-year-old star was busy performing almost 335 miles away at Primavera Sound in Porto.
She took to the stage for her solo set while Perrie was saying “I do” to former England footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in an intimate ceremony in Faro.
The wedding had been a long time coming for the couple, who have been together for around a decade and engaged for four years after a romantic beach proposal.
While fans had expected a Little Mix reunion-style appearance from at least part of the group, both Jade and Leigh-Anne Pinnock were noticeably absent, with no official explanation given for their no-shows.
Perrie is said to have been “so excited” for the big day, having spent months planning the celebration near her holiday home in the Algarve.
The wedding backdrop came amid ongoing chatter around tension within the former Little Mix camp, particularly involving Jesy Nelson, who left the group in 2020.
Secret Love Song hitmaker has recently spoken out about feeling hurt by past comments and insisted she felt misrepresented in public discussions.
She has also hinted that a full reunion of all four original members is extremely unlikely, saying trust had been damaged beyond repair.
Jesy, however, has previously suggested she would not rule out a future reconnection, keeping fans guessing over whether the iconic girl group could ever share a stage again.
