Alec Baldwin has opened up about what he is teaching his children in this "hopeless" world.
The American actor has spent his whole life learning new things and gaining experience, and now he is passing those down to his eight kids.
In a recent conversation with E! Online, he revealed the powerful rule he has made for his kids that he wants them to follow.
He revealed that since he is old, he has asked them to work out and get string for later, "I say, 'I want you guys to work out and get strong because you're going to be pushing the old man in my chair before long.'"
He added, "I want my kids to grow up having hope, because right now it's more hopeless than I've ever seen."
It is to be noted that the Rust star was present at the premiere of the documentary Gaslit on Friday, June 12, where he fondly talked about his babies.
Alec went on to add that, "We've got to continue to fight to prove to our children that you got to keep fighting. You got to have hope, and you got to keep fighting to take the reins of power in our society, and that responsibility—that awesome responsibility—away from people who are going to abuse it."
Notably, the 68-year-old is the father of 30-year-old Ireland with first wife, Kim Basinger and also share 12-year-old Carmen, 10-year-old Rafael, nine-year-old Leonardo, eight-year-old Romeo, two five-year-olds Eduardo and Marcia (via surrogacy) and three-year-old Ilaria with current wife, Hilaria.
