Perrie Edwards has tied the knot with footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in a dreamy yet intimate ceremony in the Algarve, with the couple saying “I do” in front of close friends and family in sun-soaked Portugal.
The 32-year-old Little Mix star married the former England midfielder at the stunning Igreja Matriz de Estoi church in the village of Estoi, near Faro, close to her own holiday home.
The afternoon ceremony began just after 3pm, with around 70 guests watching on as the couple finally became husband and wife after a ten-year romance.
Alex arrived first in a sharp black tuxedo alongside his father Mark and brother Christian.
While Perrie made a show-stopping entrance 30 minutes later in a vintage white Mercedes, glowing in a lace bridal gown with gold jewellery.
She walked arm in arm with her father as white flowers filled the centuries-old church.
Bridesmaids, including singers' sister Caitlin, wore matching sky-blue silk dresses and shaded themselves with umbrellas.
While guests including Alex’s former teammates looked on during a short 30-minute service accompanied by a live orchestra.
At the end of the vows, the newlyweds were greeted with cheers, petals and a burst of colourful smoke as they stepped into the sunshine, hand in hand.
The celebration continued in the village square with drinks flowing and Louis Armstrong playing softly in the background.
The couple later moved on to a luxury reception venue nearby, where the party continued late into the night.
Perrie’s former bandmate Jade Thirlwall was notably absent due to festival commitments, while the couple spent the days before the wedding relaxing with friends in luxury Algarve resorts.
After ten years together and four years engaged,the couple inally celebrated their long-awaited fairytale moment in style.
