Taylor Swift recently received criticism from American actor Hank Azaria for the courtside seat at the NBA Finals over the weekend.
The Simpsons actor found it “crazy” to see so many celebrities at the Wednesday night match between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs during an appearance on The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz.
“I’ll tell you the one that bothered me was Taylor Swift,” confessed the 62-year-old.
Hank told the host, “I know she’s the hugest thing in the world, but we had to sit with her all through the NFL, and now at the Garden. Come on.”
Interestingly, The Birdcage actor expressed disappointment to see Taylor getting the seat at the courtside.
“I’m just tired of the whole Taylor sports,” he stated.
However, Hank added that it’s “ridiculous” that she got three courtside seats as Alana and Este Haim were also with the Blank Space singer.
Meanwhile, Hank, who is a longtime Knicks fan, slammed the celebrities for getting complimentary tickets to games at Madison Square Garden.
“You don’t know from the Garden if you’re going to get in until that day,” remarked The Smurfs star.
But Hank noted that if one is still “Ben Stiller or Tracy Morgan,” then he thinks “Spike [Lee] actually pays for his tickets”.
“So, they don’t let you know until day-of because there’s such high demand,” added the actor.
