Speaking to People magazine, Elisha reflected on the whirlwind success of the groundbreaking drama, which made stars of both her and leading man Kiefer Sutherland.

“It was overwhelming and thrilling and exciting,” she said.

“I have great memories of that time, but it was really intense too.”

“We were working so much,” she admitted.

“It was not an easy show to film. It was a well-oiled machine, but it still was a gruelling schedule. I don’t know if I’d have the energy to partake in that again.”

Despite her doubts about returning, The Quiet star was quick to praise the Emmy-winning series, calling it “amazing” and “groundbreaking."

She said that she feels lucky to have been part of such a television phenomenon.

Elisha also revealed she still occasionally keeps in touch with former cast members and often bumps into actors who made guest appearances during the show’s eight-season run.

Interestingly, her comments come after Kiefer recently shared a very different view of life on 24
