Prince Harry is facing fresh scrutiny over what some are calling his most telling public appearance yet, just days after that bombshell BBC interview lit up headlines around the globe.

While attending The Knowledge event in Las Vegas on Prince Archie’s sixth birthday, the Duke of Sussex delivered an empowering speech about youth, truth, and fearless leadership.

Royal commentator Jennie Bond told The Mirror that Harry's words about rejecting the status quo and speaking up were "pretty much Harry’s own philosophy, for better or worse."

“He praised young people for their refusal to accept the status quo, for being fearless and determined to stand up for themselves,” Bond noted. “And that seems pretty much Harry‘s own philosophy.”

In his speech, Harry said: “In an apathetic world, there’s more empathy in this generation than I’ve ever seen before… it’s the empathy, the authenticity, the truth, the honesty and the fearlessness… That is what we need. We need fearless leadership.”

But the tone shift comes just days after Harry publicly revealed that his father, King Charles, won’t speak to him, and added he doesn’t know how long His Majesty has “left” as he battles cancer.

Last week, Harry branded his lost UK security appeal a “good old-fashioned establishment stitch-up” in an emotional interview that many called tone-deaf, especially after it aired on Princess Charlotte’s birthday.

Bond said she believes Harry may have spoken more than he intended, calling his interview a reaction to “seething fury.”

“He was, in his own words, ‘gutted and devastated’. And that is rarely the best time to air your thoughts,” Bond said.

“I think he might now realise that he went too far in talking about his father’s health. That was a clear invasion of the privacy that Harry himself so covets.”

Bond didn’t hold back, warning that Harry’s remarks may have finally crossed a line with the UK public.

“He has, in my opinion, now lost the support of the vast majority of the British public.”
