Kate Middleton stole the show at tonight’s VE Day 80th anniversary concert — but it was her subtle tribute to daughter Princess Charlotte that had royal watchers swooning.

The Princess of Wales, 43, was all smiles as she joined Prince William at Horse Guards Parade for the commemorative concert, where she debuted a chic black bow hairstyle, a favourite look of 10-year-old Charlotte, often seen sporting similar bows at royal events.

The dainty black ribbon, nestled in Kate’s elegant half-up ‘do, is believed to be a touching nod to her daughter, who famously wore matching bows at past appearances including last year’s Royal Christmas Carol concert.

Although Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis did not attend tonight’s concert, it’s clear their mum had them on her mind, especially Charlotte.

Princess Kate turned heads in a crisp white Self-Portrait dress, completing the look with a striking five-strand pearl necklace and matching pearl earrings.

Meanwhile, Prince William, 42, appeared relaxed as he sat beside his wife and Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.
