Prince William reportedly has “no incentive” to rekindle a relationship with Prince Harry
Hopes of a royal reconciliation appear dimmer than ever as Prince Harry’s emotional BBC interview last week may have widened the rift with his brother, Prince William.
Royal insiders told The Mirror that Harry’s public comments have made things worse, not better.
“The Duke’s latest decision to speak publicly… will only result in him being further than ever from the reconciliation he now says he wants,” a source revealed, adding that the root issue is “a major trust issue” within the royal household.
According to the insiders, Prince William reportedly has “no incentive” to rekindle a relationship with Harry, especially when Harry continues to present “only his side of the story”.
“The King is a Christian and a good man. Forgiveness is central to that,” said a source. “But how can anyone forget the events of the past five years when they are repeated so often? The whole episode is as exhausting as it is sad.”

These comments follow Prince Harry’s emotional interview with the BBC, in which he lamented being estranged from his father and claimed King Charles “won’t speak” to him due to the ongoing security row.
In his interview, Harry admitted: “Of course, some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book… but I would love reconciliation.”
Yet with Harry continuing to publicly air grievances and Buckingham Palace issuing a firm reminder that the courts have “repeatedly and meticulously” ruled on the matter of security, it seems a royal reunion is not on the horizon.
