Ryan Reynolds' turns heads with orange glow during NYC night out

Actor Ryan Reynolds sparked a wave of amused reaction on social media after debuting what appeared to be a noticeably fake tan.

The film producer was spotted hugging his friend Hugh Jackman, in New York City on Tuesday after watching a play with his wife, Blake Lively.

While people noticed the friendly moment, many fans were more focused on Reynolds' uneven false tan, which quickly became funny topic on social media.

There was a noticeable orange tint to the actor’s skin, especially on his hand, face, and the back of his neck.

Fans were quick to point out after pictures of him were posted to the deuxmoi Instagram account.

One fan even asked, in a humorous way, “Why is he so orange?”

“Ten layers of spray tan on the back of that neck,” another pinned.

"Looks like his neck had been daubed with iodine pre-surgery!" another person added.

Many people made jokes that the star's new appearance might have been influenced by a Friends episode where Ross Geller gets a ridiculously dark tan.
