How Jennifer Lopez is reinventing herself after Ben Affleck divorce

Jennifer Lopez is making big moves to transform her life in the wake of the breakdown of what was supposed to be her fairytale romance with Ben Affleck.

The 55-year-old multi-hyphenated starlet married her longtime love Affleck in 2022, 20 years post their original engagement in 2002 broke down.

What appeared to be the culmination of decades long romance unfortunately broke down just two years later, leaving Lopez feeling like her ‘entire world exploded’.

The couple, who tied the knot in July 2022, were separated by April 2024.

However, Lopez is now fiercely focused on getting her life back on track, in both personal and professional aspects.

Talking to Us Weekly, an insider revealed earlier this year in January, “She was very in love with Ben, but love isn’t enough sometimes… She’s enjoying being single and is feeling herself.” 

The insider further shared that J.Lo was now focused on ‘having fun’ and ‘working on some big movie projects and enjoying how amazing she looks.’

Lopez is also working on her upcoming Netflix rom-com alongside Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein, titled Office Romance.
