Lucy Liu voiced her appearance in one of 2026 most eagerly awaited film as she keeps the secrets under strict lock and key.
The 57-year-old actress, in an exclusive interview with People, shared that her role in The Devil Wears Prada 2, was not publicly disclosed in trailers.
"I think that's what's special about it," Liu said of the mystery role. "I think everyone's looking forward to it."
The sequel, 20 years after the first one in 2006, features Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Stanley Tucci and Emily Blunt rejoining the cast.
The current is a follow-up of Miranda Priestly (Streep) as she maneuvers through the fall of the old magazine publishing industry clashes with the character of Blunt, who is now a high-power executive.
"It's going to be highly entertaining," said Liu. "It's going to give you all the things, all the eye candy, and it's going to show that these characters have grown and changed. I think that's what people want to see."
Moreover, she noted, "They want to know 20 years later what's different, because you don't want to get served the same thing."
The veteran film producer works with Pfizer on its campaign Every Breakthrough Matters, said that she was a big fan of the original film.
It is astute to note that the new casts comprise Kenneth Branagh, Justin Theroux and B.J. Novak.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 is released in cinemas May 1.
