Thunderbolts star Florence Pugh stunned in a black, sheer Elie Saab tulle lace gown at the London world premiere of the movie, held on Tuesday, 22nd April.
Since then, Marvel’s Black Widow has appeared in interviews with various news outlets, where she spoke about feeling the pressure of stepping into the iconic role.
Today, 26th April, Pugh finally shared her personal reflections with fans in an Instagram post, along with pictures of herself and the Thunderbolts cast on the red carpet, starting with a heartfelt confession about being late.
The Academy Award-nominated actress admitted that, although she was late posting about the premiere, it often takes her a couple of days to “decompress after events like these.”
Undeniably, the Thunderbolts premiere was a massive affair, featuring a dramatic yellow-and-black themed venue, and the movie itself is just as commanding.
Sharing her excitement about the Marvel project, she wrote, “This movie has been literally one of THE wildest rides I know I will ever have in my lifetime.”
Pugh continued reflecting on the night, calling it "uber special" as she was joined on the red carpet by close friends and family, a moment that deeply moved her.
"My god, that makes the heart feel warm," she added.
Beyond celebrating with her loved ones, Pugh also made sure to thank the fans who supported her throughout the journey. “And thank you for being there on the carpet, cheering with so much love I could cry!” she wrote.
Adding a sweet personal touch, Pugh also mentioned her beloved grandmother, Granzo Pat, who "curtseyed and waved like the queen she is.”
Pugh expressed her gratitude for her grandmother’s enduring presence, energy, and support over the years.
