Gwen Stefani, who has been married to Blake Shelton since 2021, disclosed that the key to a good marriage is to include a third force.
The Hollaback Girl hitmaker noted that it was the best advice she had ever received regarding love, which she is seemingly passing on to the world.
Gwen made an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show where she informed the audience, “Make sure you have a third party.”
She followed up the statement by pointing her gaze and her index finger up at the studio ceiling, seemingly referring to God.
The 55-year-old’s move was met with applause from the audience, after which Gwen went on to detail that her marriage had space in more ways than one.
The Don't Get It Twisted singer stated that she prefers cozying up for a date night at home rather than going out.
“I’m literally couch, blanket, chips, I just have the whole thing — the dogs down right there, and then we have two couches, and Blake’s on that couch, and we’re like, ‘Hi!’”
Gwen went on to joke that the reason they have separate sofas is because Blake is “gigantic,” implying that the two won’t fit.
Notably, Blake, 48, and Gwen met on the set of The Voice in 2015, and have been together ever since.
Yes, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton got married in 2021, and are still going strong as ever. The pair have also been vocal about their strong association with the Christian faith, listing it as one of the reasons for their successful union.
