Palace released a key statement after King Charles reunited with his brother Prince Andrew despite the Duke's alleged involvement in controversies.

For the unversed, the monarch and his wife Queen Camilla stepped out to attend Easter service at St George’s Chapel alongside other royals.

Notably, Princess Anne was photographed with her husband Sir Timothy Laurence and Prince Edward with his wife Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh as they arrived at church to mark a special event.

However, Andrew and his former wife Sarah Ferguson's appearance sparked reactions as they two are no longer working members of the firm.

After celebrating the religious festival, a series of photos were posted on the royal family's official Instagram account with a delightful message.

"The King and Queen were joined by other members of the Royal Family at St George’s Chapel in Windsor today for the traditional Easter Matins service," the Palace's spokesperson stated.

As soon the royal family shared pictures from the Easter gathering, fans were quick to notice that the Duke and Duchess of York were not featured in the carousel.

About King Charles and Prince Andrew's estranged relationship:

From the Jeffery Epstein case to the spy scandal, it has been said that the Duke of York brought shame to the royal family.

The King is seemingly trying to maintain distance from his brother to avoid controversies.
