The 57th selection list for Directors’ Fortnight is out now, and it’s a rich blend of renowned auteurs and fresh debut voices set to light up the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, taking place from 13 to 24 May.

The opening film on 13th May will be Enzo by Laurent Cantet and directed by Robin Campillo while the closing film will be Sorry, Baby by Eva Victor screened on 24th May.

The selection list is officially displayed on the Cannes official website.

Eva Victor will be displaying her first feature film at Cannes. Moreover, Directors’ Fortnight is rich with mise en scene of the first feature films including films by Yuiga Danzuka, Valéry Carnoy, Louise Hémon, Prïncia Car, Jinghao Zhou, Lloyd Lee Choi, and Hasan Hadi.

The other feature films are Amour Apocalypse (Peak Everthing) by Anne Émond, Classe Moyenne (The Party’s Over!) de Antony Cordier, Dangerous Animals by Sean Byrne, Indomptables by Thomas Ngijol, Kokuho by Lee Sang-il and Militantropos by Yelizaveta Smith, Alina Gorlova & Simon Mozgovyi.

Moreover, Miroirs No.3 (Mirrors No. 3 ) by Christian Petzold, La Mort N’existe Pas (Death Does Not Exist) by Félix Dufour-Laperrière, and Que Ma Volonte Faite (Her Will Be Done) by Julia Kowalski are also some of the debut films shortlist for Directors’ Fortnight.

Fortnight selection list also entails short and medium length films which includes The Body by Louris van de Geer, Karmash by Aleem Bukhari, Loynes by Dorian Jespers, La Mort Du Poisson (Death of the Fish) by Eva Lusbaronian, and others.
