Lindsay Lohan received the Vanguard Award at CinemaCon 2025 during the Big Screen Achievement Awards ceremony.

She explained how “surreal” it was to see herself on the big screen while watching The Parent Trap, which was her breakout project.

The actress went on to thank Disney for “always” believing in her, as well as her husband Bader Shammas "for his constant support.”

"Thank you so much for this award. It means more than you know to me," she stated. "I have grown up in this industry, and I'm so proud to still be doing what I love. There's nothing like the magic of cinema."

“It was so surreal, but I felt right at home," she added about the experience of watching The Parent Trap.

"Thank you CinemaCon for believing in me," Lohan concluded.

She was at the peak of her fame in the late 90s and early 2000s appearing in flicks like Freaky Friday (2003), Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004), Mean Girls (2004), Herbie: Fully Loaded (2005) and Just My Luck (2006).

She most recently appeared in Netflix’s romantic comedies including Irish Wish and Our Little Secret.
