Will Smith’s pointed response to Jada Pinkett amid marriage controversy

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s marriage has been a controversial topic in Hollywood.

The Red Table Talk host has been making rounds online for her new crush, Ted Danson.

According to latest report of RadarOnline.com, the estranged wife of Will had “a crush on Ted” as she considered him one of most handsome leading men in movie industry.

An insider told the outlet that Ted is “loyal to his wife and Jada loves and respects her too”.

After this news went viral, Will’s old Instagram Story video resurfaced in which he opened up about “retiring” from trying to make his wife happy.

The clip, which features the King Richard actor, discussing his troubled marriage to Jada, was seemingly taken back in 2018.

“I asked her what does she think is one of the biggest revelations that she had about love? She said, 'You cannot make a person happy.' And I thought that was a real deep idea,” explained Will.

The Hancock actor believed, “You can make a person smile. You can make a person feel good. You can make a person laugh.”

“But whether or not a person is happy is deeply and totally and utterly out of your control,” he added.

Meanwhile, Will, who shares two children with estranged wife Jada, pointed out that this perspective did bring him a sense of relief and growth as he reflected on his personal journey.
