Singer Morgan Wallen appeared as the musical guest on the March 29 episode of Saturday Night Live, which was hosted by Oscar winner Mikey Madison.
At the end of their performances, she appeared by the singer’s side and thanked the audience, saying, "I had a wonderful time."
Soon after, Wallen whispered something in her ear before immediately making his way off the stage. He then posted an Instagram story of himself at a private jet where the words "Get me to God's country" were written.
For the gig, the singer performed the track I’m The Problem from his upcoming album of the same name. He later returned to perform Just In Case from the same LP.
This was his second appearance on the show since his first controversial gig that took place in 2020.
He missed his original performance two months prior as his gig was cancelled due to pictures being leaked of him kissing several college women while partying and going maskless during Covid-19.
He ended up doing a sketch where he made fun of the controversy and received warnings from his future self.
