The It Ends With Us legal battle keeps getting messier as Hugh Jackman could also play a pivotal role.
Jackman, 56, will reportedly testify to defend his Deadpool and Wolverine co-star, Ryan Reynolds, a source revealed to Daily Mail.
“As Ryan’s good friend, who starred in the film and was with Blake and Ryan many times in private during that time, his deposition will likely be crucial. They are not going to leave any stone unturned,” said the source.
In legal jargon, ‘deposition’ refers to a witness's sworn out-of-court testimony, used to gather information as part of the discovery process and, in limited circumstances, may be used at trial.
The insider further supported the argument by stating how Taylor Swift was also made a part of the feud after Baldoni claimed that she was present at a meeting with Lively to go over the rooftop scene featured in the film.
“Not only this, but Hugh helped promote It Ends with Us in the same way that Taylor did when they did their group shot for the cross-promo with Deadpool,” they added.
Notably, the Logan star was present at the movie’s New York City premiere with Green Lantern actor to support It Ends With Us.
For the unversed, Blake Lively’s husband was made a part of the lawsuit by Justin Baldoni who counter-sued the Gossip Girl alum, Reynolds, and their publicist in response to Lively’s assault case against him.
