Lady Gaga, who made a bold comeback by releasing Mayhem, disclosed the real meaning of the new tracks.
The 38-year-old singer had previously explored different aspects of her personality in every sense, before releasing her seventh album.
The Bad Romance singer gushed that the new releases will have a lasting impression so that “one day our kids will hear it.”
The 14-times Grammy-winner, in an interview with Enews, delved into the essence that the melodies carry, saying “it’s not one vibe.”
The singer crafted the album in a unique and chaotic way by producing songs of various types that influenced her “whole career,” knitting them all together but allowing “the chaos to be intact so that, like it actually would be mayhem to listen to, um so it truly is like its title.”
She remarked that the new album truly describes her true self, as they poetically answer the most anticipated questions about her personality and career.
The Bloody Mary hitmaker related the disorder of the record to herself by saying that “is like, truly me also in a way.”
Gaga explained her unusual bond with the newly released collection, recalling how she “was always asked to be defined as a woman my whole career” and asked for explanation about the persona she carries.
Before making the songs live for her global audience, the Die With a Smile singer revealed it was her husband-to-be Michael Polansky who motivated her to make pop music in her brave style after witnessing a “fire” in her classic performances.
